Several areas of the campsites at Graspop Metal Meeting Flooded: Emergency Shelter for Affected Campers
Due to heavy rainfall, several areas of the campsites at Graspop Metal Meeting have flooded. The organization, together with local authorities and emergency services, is providing emergency shelter for those affected.

The main affected areas are the Boneyard and Inferno campsites. The organization is arranging accommodations nearby where people can warm up.

Campers who are affected (hypothermic, with wet belongings, or flooded tents) can report to the information stand of the organization (at the main entrance).

No Overnight Stays for New Visitors
Visitors who are planning to come to Dessel in the coming days cannot stay overnight at the campsite. They are requested to return home after the festival or arrange accommodation elsewhere.

The heavy rain will not prevent the festival from continuing as planned. Necessary measures are being taken to ensure the festival grounds can handle the excessive rain.

UPDATE 19/06/2024 – 15:00

PARKING LOTS WILL REMAIN CLOSED ALL FESTIVAL WEEKEND - DAY VISITORS ARE ASKED NOT TO CAMP AT BONEYARD.

The parking lots have suffered from the wet weather. Therefore, the parking areas around the festival park will remain closed throughout the festival weekend. Below are the alternatives to reach the festival smoothly.

The Boneyard campsite is also affected by the heavy rainfall, preventing us from opening part of the campsite. We advise day visitors not to stay overnight at this campsite and to head home in the evening.

The programming of the other festival days is not affected. The festival grounds are in good condition. The Graspop Metal Meeting organization is ready to give it their all for 4 days! We thank everyone for their understanding in this unpredictable situation.

Stay metal, stay safe & take care!

KISS & RIDE
Get dropped off at the KISS & RIDE at Mol station. From the station, you can take the free shuttle bus directly to the festival. These shuttles run on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 08:00 to 02:30. On Monday from 07:30 to 13:00. Navigate to the KISS & RIDE zone via Google Maps or Waze.

PARK & BIKE
If possible, bring your bike. The festival is very easy to reach by bike. The guarded bike parking areas are located 100 m from the main entrance and are free. You can park your car for free at these locations:

- Park & Bike - WEST: Duineneind, Kasterlee (KSK Kasterlee). 8 km. Navigate here.
- Park & Bike - EAST: Meiplein, Witgoor (Dessel). 7 km. Navigate here.
- Park & Bike - ZILVERMEER: Zilvermeer, Mol. 10 km. Navigate here.

PARK & TRAIN
For those coming from afar, we recommend parking at a train station on the train lines to Mol station and taking the train to the festival. From Mol station, free shuttle buses will take you to the festival park: on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 08:00 to 02:30. On Monday from 07:30 to 13:00.

Departure and arrival times for all trains can be found on nmbs.be or in the NMBS app. Don't have a train ticket yet? Go to www.nmbs.be/graspop, enter the code on your ticket, and save 50% on your train ticket!

BY CAR
Festivalgoers who still come by car will be directed to parking facilities further away. In this case, please allow for a longer travel time.

- Day visitors will be directed to parking WITGOOR-MEIPLEIN a few kilometers from the festival. Free shuttle buses ensure smooth connections between these parking lots and the festival grounds. These buses run on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10:30 to 02:30. On Monday, shuttles run to parking WITGOOR - MEIPLEIN between 6:30 AM and 1:00 PM.

- For visitors staying overnight at the Boneyard, we unfortunately cannot offer parking nearby. We highly recommend campers to use the PARK & TRAIN, PARK & BIKE, or KISS & RIDE options.

Refund for Unused Parking Tickets
Were you initially planning to come by car but now decide to leave it at home? Not only are we eternally grateful, but your already purchased parking ticket will also be automatically refunded after the festival!
